loving this from Haro

I don't get why they wouldn't at least put a metal braking surface on?
-
• #359
Because anyone buying one is doing it more for a nostalgia trip and it's just going to sit in their back room gathering dust or the occasional quick blast around the park with the kids.

For sure, rereleases of classic bikes have always been money spinners plain and simple - shame they're always such a cop out. Although, if you start modernising the build, at what point does it stop I guess.

Defniately a nostalgia trip but gives a chance for those who weren't lucky enough to have a Haro BITD, not really digging the 24 and 26 but the Mike Dominguez replica looks sweet.
never had a problem with braking on skyways.

I'm almost too old/fat for bmx (yet younger/thinner than Crandall) but since I'm about to go and ride I guess I should post a photo of my war machine
Do your best to ignore the awfully cropped instagram photo please19 Hamdog frame, odyssey freestyle forks, original bobs, vandero to haz lite, 165 bsd cranks, ratchet to ribcage (48h baby), primo viking clamp, pegs, blah.. blah.. blah...

^4 pegs is best pegs
oppo grinds are weird but you'll get there, soon enough it won't even be opposite it'll just be natural both ways. then you can start playing with switch stuff..
-
• #374
^This. Once you get over the fact that it's not your normal side you can really start to mess around, especially once you get the hang of opposite 180s.

for realz. I went through a stint of running left pegs only (despite being left foot foward, I grind goofy) to beef up my oppo grinds and since all I do is grind it worked a treat.
Now rather annoyingly the only trick I cant do both ways is pegs to over, which I can only do "opposite", on the left. Ballache but oh well it's still funSwitch foot grinds are my new favourite, that shit is way fun
