^^^ shhhh ed, with the wheel slammed it would just about touch with a 25c tyre...
If it were any consideration, I would totally pick one up and fit a bag inbetween the clearance for touring.

^ Photo's don't do the paint justice! It's a really nice frame, made me miss my KHS Aero Track a LOT!
I know, i tried, but poor light combined with shit cameras led to it being very tricky, will nick my sisters slr soon

Bought this to keep me company while my custom frame is delayed.
Don't know what to do with it as I don't really want to open my brand new group set but I also don't have any spare parts since the 'one bike to rule them all' purge.

Your solution is obvious.

^^ hmmmm, i know ck will happen eventually, just got to wait for one to come along.
For the hubs, i dunno, i really like the idea of a bolt on, lowest you can go on a bolt on cog is 15t/16t so if i ever want to use the hubs for track i can just put on a fat off chainring... and velosolo do a lifelong warranty on their cogs where if you wear them out you send it back to them and they replace it for free.
plus i've got my mind set on an idea i want to try out, that i could basically take the bike apart with a small multi tool in a worst case scenario, and the mack's with disc cog would let me do that

BB and HS. So you might aswell get proper hubs

What kind of worst case scenario would require cog removal?

harumphhh, but i want bolt on!!!
true bonor, the more i think about it the more i think that my justification is a bit flawed, i'd just be mega pissed off if i stripped a thread on a hundred-and-whatever-it-is hub
and i dunno TM, i do have a fear off a cog coming loose and if i didn't have a lockwhip not being able to tighten it up, something that wouldn't be the case with bolt on

Having the chain jump off and get caught between the cog and hub flange.

Does anyone know what kind of clearance you get on the columbus minimal fork with a 23c tyre? I'm considering getting one but want something with kinda tight clearance.

Should be fine up to 28mm tyres.

This is my new monstrosity which involved combining one 19" Voodoo Wanga MTB Frame, and a 19" Voodoo Marasa hybrid.
The result is 1x9 SLX/Deore set up. 11-26 casette and 32 ring up front, tektro hydros, 700x32C rando tyres and a lot of ugly nippy fun.
only real plan is to better secure the rear brake hose as she rattles like a bitch and switch it to flat pedals for pub mode.

So get one. If you can live with the restricted gearing, there are no other disadvantages, and much to be said for avoiding the engineering horror show which is using a thread for torque transmission.

^^this was the seal of approval i was after :)
bolt on it is, now for ordering and praying i get what i ordered
and thrust ^^^^^ i doubt i'm gonna get them re-anodized silver, if i do i'll get the rims done too but i'm not sure many places have baths that big
to de-anodize them i'll just take off the colour on the bits that'll be on show and polish up
