"ikea"?
Separately, well done Pirate, very impressive.

Great to see this up and running.
Five hills too rich for my legs but I'll be out for Kent or somewhere north or east.
Also highly gratified to see IKEA immortalised. For those that are wondering, I was bestowed with the award for "best excuses" back in season two of TNRC. The other excuse is too graphic to relay.

in.......ish...
will confirm.
the road up to ranmore is not great at the moment but the pub still sells guinness, fair trade.

I was just thinking; need to get the batteries on charge tonight, buy some fig rolls, give the bike a bit of a once over when I get home... Then I realised I was coming over all previous now we're Wednesday nighting it, probably still should get that all done so I can relax at norfs tomorrow night.
In other news, I am knackered from a weekend of shifting furniture and spring cleaning, and I think I might be coming down with a cold. But I am confident WNKR will cure me of all ills.

Think I am going to make my season opener something flat and northern - but Wednesdays should be pretty good for me.

Everybody's at Easts on Wednesday evenings, you just know that's where it's really at.

First Surrey ride is always small, Roydon is always massive.

Hah. I am so not race fit, I don't know about the quality. Was hoping to blend in to a crowd of coughers and splutterers.
See you at Waterloo.

Ditto, but don't let on to them that aren't coming, that way we can maintain the illusion of superhumanity, at least until we get horribly exposed on the Roydon ride.

I'm cooking fresh homemade egg fettucine and a walnut sauce, followed by trout with celeriac dauphinoise, a simple green salad, tarte au citron and a couple of half-decent cheeses. For six. On a Wednesday.
I'll think of you, all quality not quantity, while it's pissing down.

Thanks, train is not until seven so I think we can make dinner with you.
And why would it be pissing down in your kitchen? You should have a word with your upstairs neighbours, they've probably left the bath running.

Judging by the way I was dropped by a business woman on a bo-bike this morning you'll be in fine company. And anyway, no one gets left behind (well not on purpose, sorry Loic).

Will put my name down for a couple of these, work (feltham) isn't too far away from effingham so could ride over rather than getting train in and then out. Am looking forward to them, got to get the miles in if I'm actually to do Paris roubaix, rather than talking about it. Need to get the fixed commuter back on the road, so apologies may have to do the first un's geared...
Looking forward to seeing you scoundrels out on the blacktop..
