Time to prepare really is an issue, as well as inconveniency.
I often have to bring prepared lunch in tupperware to work or other places where there would be no vegan food to get but plain bread or maybe a banana.
I don't know prices where you live, but cooking vegan isn't more expensive where I'm at.
