  • I was almost properly vegan for about 6 months, but didn't keep track of supplementing things so would have weeks at a time just feeling rubbish and run down, and I was starting to turn white. Also missed cheese just too much, though 'sheeze' is made locally on the isle of bute.

    Discovered i'm actually pretty lactose intolerant, so chopping cow's milk out of my diet as much as possible has made life post-veganism much better.

    During that 6 months didn't miss meat at all, I felt on the whole great, skin was amazing, eyes felt and looked clearer, only had 1 cold, and poo smelt and looked a lot better lol.
    So would defo go vegetarian + lactose free, spare the odd massive chunk of awesome cheese.
