26.0 Compact drop bars?

I think the newer deda piega have 75mm reach so 10mm less than the bontragers. Other than that I'm not too sure of the difference.

Spotter bars are apparently only a little bit heavier according to claimed weights, but they felt a fair bit heavier to me. Also the curve on the Piega bars is a bit smoother, so they feel a lot more comfortable in the drops to me. That could also be because my Spotter bars are too wide.

what about mounting the levers on them. that very first picture in this thread is my ideal lever bar stem alignment,

is that possible with the dedas?

i do prefer the form of the dedas to the spottahs, i kept hitting my wrists on the drops.

Yesterday I sent an email to Wiggle so that they could confirm the shape of the 40cm version and they've checked the stock and apparently they have anatomic shape. :(

The guy has told me that he was going to check the stock so that he could confirm it. He hasn't said nothing at first.

Aren't they 42cm?

I just bought some 42cm for a different bike after buying the 40cm first.

Definitely just buy them and see, it's cheap and there's not really anything to lose by sending them back if they're wrong, I don't think you even pay postage if you do the pickup point thing.

yeah collect+ is free to return with wiggle and there's loads of corner shops that do it.

ordering some 44's now, will report back

They are US only. I'm off to Florida in a few months so will be looking for some then.

Going to strip the black anodising off the clamp area and put the on my full dura ace 7700 roadie.

my 42 cm o-o are also compacts.. oh what a collective joy..!

Just ordered some 38 Piegas from Wiggle after having no luck finding some on here. Should certainly be compact at that width but we'll see
