  • As I mentioned many many times AVB had a plan, a philosophy about how he wanted the team to play, based on possession and being strong defensively through that possession, making us hard to best and then filling in the blanks attacking wise.

    Now we don't have the possession or the control so it's a game of attack and counter attack, bypassing the midfield where we have no control anyway and launching long balls to adebayor or diagonals out to the wing.

    Eriksen is the only one looking to string something together and continues to be the creative spark that could get us going but sherwood seems determined to play him anywhere but up behind the striker where he wants to be.. In which world was Kane a better player operating off adebayor I don't know..

    Anyway will be interesting to see how he sets us up, or not against arsenal who have just as much to lose on Sunday..
