  • Thanks mate. If I'm going the full hog with this than I might as well get it right the first time. Last thing I'd want is to get annoyed with the gearing when buying my first new bike in over 5 years.

    Yes the GF01 is dual drivechain (Canyon for example have separate frames for Electric and mechanical).

    There are separate rubber plugs and cable stops needed for each set-up. So worth trying to Source both at purchase.

    He cant be sure the shifting issues are Down to the kink in the chainstay. But you cant fit a cable liner in there (hes tried powercordz and gore sealed).

    Hes always suffered a bit over long distance. That general body fatigue bike radar bang on about. But the GF01 has gone a long way to remove this.

    As for the Ultegra Di2. Its a 700 note upgrade from mechanical Ultegra (of course then you can sell the bits you replace). So £250 seems a good price. But whether something is Worth the Money is Down to the buyer I Guess. I know I'd og for it (I'm a massive buyer though).
