The wolf tooth stuff is good I think, although probably overkill for SS setups. I can totally see the point of the taller teeth for 1*n geared bikes.
Ideally I would like a 110bcd 48tooth ring in 1/8, to replicate the gearing I have currently (48*19) for riding on the road. I would then be able to choose from multiple options for a smaller 'ring for SSCX use.
The question is, am I looking for something that simply doesn't exist in the UK? I see that Fyxo will machine a custom chainring to the specs I've outlined above, and at something like $100 AUS it doesn't seem at all unreasonable.
