I am quite keen on that Citizen titanium watch that shows up in this thread once in a while. What is the best/cheapest way of getting one?
Only outlet I could find online is John Lewis, should I just order it from there? Or are there better/cheaper stores I need to know about? The other option, if that is an option, is that I travel quite a lot with work. So if re-routing my next work trip trough Schiphol or whatever would save me a hundred quid, then I'd seriously consider doing that.

So if I look at a chronograph and it has a tiny 24 hour dial, does it run independently of the main dial so that I could use it as GMT marker when I travel? Or are you forced to make it follow the time on the main dial?
(I am talking about chronographs that doesn't specifically mention GMT in the tech specs) -

Sorry, me with the black divers again.
This is the first time I have heard about the Citizen eco-drives, but you guys seem to really like them. Does that mean that this is the watch I have been looking for all along? What are your thoughts on value for money at that price point?

Me again, thanks with you help with the black diver watches earlier. While the CWC and the Trasers were interesting, I realise I am somehow set on the Seiko 5's fairly generic dial.
I see mentions of Seiko-modding on Instagram but hasn't managed to work out who does this. Any suggestions as to who to contact? And what sort of jobs the modders could do?
I am thinking that the price difference between a Seiko 5 and a CWC for example could go a long way to render a gun metal Seiko pitch black – if such a job can be done that is. -
Perhaps you guys can help me. I have decided that I would like a black diver watch. For t-shirt and jeans days.
The colour I would most like would be a matt black like that Alfine watch I see posted in this thread from time to time. But it is also my understanding that for diver watches Seiko 5 Sport offer a very nice sweet spot between price and quality.
My research so far has led me to Seiko SNZF21K1. It's awesome in the way it kind of looks like a Platonic ideal of a diver watch. Functional and with no excessive detailing. But it's gun metal rather than black, and seems to be sold out everywhere in any case.
The other thing I found was Seiko SNZG85, which looks more like a proper black as far as I can tell. And it's reasonably priced too. But perhaps a bit OTT?Can you guys think of any other suggestions?
