@matteroftaste got something stronger?
@gadji what do you mean by that?
-
@Philbythesea This is probably very true.

@Banana753 no problem Banana, bet sure to put a picture up when you are finished. I would like to see what you do with it :).
@JusCos I have had fun talking to people, and I certainly know a lot more about bikes now, before coming here I barely knew what a group set was :D. Why don't Halfords tell you any of this when you buy a bike.

I haven't got an offer of anywhere near that, I can only go on what offers I have, best offer I got was £550 and I am not going to cancel the sale to Banana for £50 espically since banana is not messing about and I know he wants it 100%, if someone had or does by the end of the day offer 650+ I may of think about it.
I would also be guessing the 700-800 valuation is for a mint condition bike, mine does have a fair bit of wear, which you can see in the pictures.

Thank you everyone for the information and your concern. Banana has been honest and i have accepted his offer. The hassle of taking the bike apart and selling individual pieces for a extra £100 or possibly more. Would like a quick sale anyway for holiday spending money and to buy myself a cheapy road bike. Even selling the bike for more on e-bay, people always try and haggle and mess you about. Banana is not wasting my time :)

@Shroom thank you so much for that. The wheels have a fair amount of wear so I am going to count them as pretty much as worthless.
The frame has a few scratches on them but nothing to major (no corrosion or rusting)
the brakes could do with new pads (booked in today) but other than that seem good condition.
The saddle is used and is a Marco Pantani the pirate seat.
The chorus group set appears to have no damage on them. Not sure if this is a Colnago thing but love the way you can change from a high gear to a low gear instantly without it dropping through.
@user57952 afraid not.Oh the size of the frame from the seat tube to the bottom adjacent bar it is 57 cm.

Been to all three of them websites previously, none really value a full dream B-stay.
I saw the brakes on e-bay for £350, but they were not actually sold yet.
haven't found the groupset value yet or frame.
It has a integrated carbon handle bars with a Japanese design, cant find that anywhere.but thank you for trying

Hey guys,
SOLD SOLD SOLD
I got this bike from my uncle who was given it from my other uncle when he passed. My simple road bike was stolen from my garden. My uncle didn't use this bike and gave it to me but neither of us have any information on it. I did some general google searching but did not get much luck.
The information I do have is that the brakes are quite rare. Old records I was told, the wheels are proper racing wheels which last 40 - 100 miles on normal roads.
Is there anymore information you could give me? Age, what is the frame called except dream b-stay.
Having rode it, it is very fast but definitely not suitable for me daily commute.
The bike is in reasonable condition, pads need changing as they squeak, some scratches on the bars.
TRANSACTION COMPLETED.
Thank you Banana for the quick sale, and thank you for the case of beer i shall enjoy them this afternoon.
