Looking for information on this. Was told it could possibly be an Merican with Reynolds tubing but I'm not finding anything to suggest they built touring frames.

Serial number is 597 131 RS (I'm taking it RS is Reynolds Steel?)
Seat post is 27mm and BB is english threaded.
