Looking for some bits to finish off a lockdown retro mtb build:
26" wheelset
decent-ish v brakes and levers
Quill stem with removeable faceplate, or hinged clamp - trying some more interesting bars for thisLooking to keep this build cheap, so ratty pieces welcome. Not fussed about keeping it period correct.

I do the stretch from East Ham to Olympic park daily, it's gotten heaps better since they installed 24/7 lighting and turned it into Q22. Never had any trouble on it during regular commuting hours; commuter traffic does drop a little during the winter months but that just makes it more fun.
Best ridden at 4AM very stoned when it's deserted and you can pretend it's ghosts rising out of the vents instead of sewer stank.

Had my Fuji Tread stolen from my garden 3AMish Wednesday - have camera footage of the guy climbing over the wall and throwing the bike over. Came back half an hour later to check out the 90s mtb but decided steel wasn't worth the effort I guess.
Tanwall gravelkings on the front, worn out Conti Sport Contact on the back. Wide sks mudgards. 1x with a raceface ring, 105 shifters/cranks, Deore rear mech, TRP spyres, Fabric scoop saddle. The Jack front rack is probably long gone by now.
Please keep an eye out if you see it for sale or it being ridden around the Newham/East Ham/Beckton area.
