I've had this bike for 2 years now but i've hardly ridden it in the last year. I am selling it now as I'm leaving the country and need to downgrade my life. I bought this for 600 pounds, however i have since upgraded the wheels, handlebars, pedals, headset. I am willing to sell this for 300 pounds

Have a looksie in the gluten free/vegan/free form section in your local supermarket, you should be able to find wholegrain rice krispies :)

If everyone agrees, then we could possibly start a vegan nutrition thread as I do think that clean/raw/plant based diet is getting more recognition in terms of fuel and energy for endurance based activities.

I've been making these date protein balls with DIY protein mix that I've put together at home but feel free to experiment around with it!

DIY Protein mix:

1/4 cup hemp powder, 1/4 pea powder, 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1/4 cup ground almonds or cashews, 5 tablespoons maca & lucuma each and maybe cocoa powder/vanilla/cinnamon.

Date+Peanut butter chocolate balls:

about 7-8 medjool dates (soaked beforehand)
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1/2 cup brown rice crispies
1 banana
cocoa powder (optional)
spoonfuls of the above protein mix

Blend everything, roll into little balls and freeze for bit. Coat in melted dark chocolate after and freeze again. This last step is completely optional of course but why would you leave it out? Chocolate guys. Chocolate.

Completely off topic but just wondering if we have a special thread for vegan nutrition for riding/fueling up because we have a general nutrition thread and then we've got this...not sure where to post stuff regarding vegan nutrition specifically?

Sounds delightful. My favorite right now is

¼ coconut flour
Half an avocado
1 frozen banana
Handful of spinach
milk/water for blending (I used homemade walnut milk)
cinnamon/nutmeg

Top with hemp seeds, goji berries, buckwheat cereal etc.

I'm generally quite anxious about these things but this talk was really positive and helpful- I think its so important to have your own personal 'self help kit', whatever works when you're feeling low after such an encounter/whatever helps you shake it off.
