Nice bike! Hopefully mine will turn out just as beautiful. @saarf, any comments on the decals?

Hi guys went offline for a while. Thanks for the comments. I don't believe mine has original decals, being above clearcoat. Also what the seller told me... The decals shown above might be from a later era as well. The earlier downtube decals are without the cloverleaf, correct me if im wrong..
It's currently sarronni red with black background decals. I wan't to go azzurri and yellow for the cutouts, cables and bar ribbon. Found something for spray and basically have everything for a full campy build except for the fact that the crank is from 85 and brakes + levers are second gen s.r. So i'm looking around for record brakes and levers or s.r. Gen 1. And a <8> crank -
hi everyone,
Looking for some parts for a '78 colnago super restoration project.
I bought it with dura ace brakes, levers and seat post. It has a campa gran sport crank, ttt stem, cinelli bar and nuovo record derailleurs+shifters. Paint is badly chipped. So basically i'm in for a complete re-spray and re-build.
As this bike looks best in full super record livery, i'm desperately looking for parts..
Most of these are already sourced but still looking for a seatpost, original hoods and decals, preferrably yellow. I've seen black and white but want to go azurro/yellow as colour scheme..Hopefully someone can help out..

Hi everyone,
I' m new to the whole steel vintage bike thing and the forum. I've recently bought a 1979 Jan Janssen Shimano 600 ex (arabesque). Still working on getting it the way i want it to be...What i'm looking for are enthousiasts in the Amersfoort area to go out for an occasional ride together. Would love to get some tips and tricks and admire eachothers bikes.

Thanks guys. I'm happy with it although it cost me quite a bit..
Paint is chipped too badly. It wouldn't just be patina..it looks like a poorly treated, badly damaged frame. it looks better on the photos than in real life; i almost didn't buy it when i first saw it. Now i know better :)
managed to sell most of the parts i don't need and replace these with good condition S.R. / N.R. Parts, cinelli bar and stem and Mavic GP4's with record hubs.
As i'm just starting out on the whole "classic bike refurb thing" i failed to recognise that i have gen 2 brakes and crank is dated 1985, So need to replace these in time but will settle for now to get it built up and ride it..
