Got a honeymoon to pay for so I am having to get rid of some of the ridiculous amount of stuff I have. Most of it has hardly been used and has been sitting in a wardrobe for months.
I'll keep these on here for a week then anything remaining I'll stick on ebay - wanted to give the forum first dibs.
Ideally pickup from SE26, but can also do Old Street if arranged.
Contribution to the forum will be made after sale is complete.

I’ve got a load of kit that I need to get rid of - most of it has hardly been worn. I’ve got jerseys, bib shorts, a couple of helmets and some additional bits and pieces.
I want to donate it to somewhere that could use it, I could just go for a regular charity shop - but would rather offer it to something cycling specific. Does anybody know a charity that would appreciate it?

Got a used Miche Xpress Wheelset, had quite a bit of use but still good for running on a beater or pub bike, run true, bearings are still good, and fairly bomb proof rims. Comes complete with a Sturmy Archer Freewheel and fixed cog, braking surface is well used, but still got life left.
Asking for £25. Pick up from SE4

My dad drives a huge van between Abruzzo and the UK every couple of months so he could pick up on the way and drop in London for much cheaper than a normal courier if you don't mind waiting for him to have a full load coming back. I don't know exactly when his next trip will be, but if you're still looking to get it back to the UK I can put you in touch - even if he's not driving back for another couple of months he might know somebody else who is.

Some honest answers here as I know how horrific doing these kind of market research questions can be:
What do you know about MET Helmets? Cav wears one, the Manta is pretty good looking
Do you like the brand? I have no strong feelings one way or the other, they don't have the same presence as other brands but I've had a couple of Met helmets that have worked well. One thing that is important is that the design of the most high-end helmets Met have doesn't signal 'this is high quality' to anybody else apart from the wearer - if you are spending £150+ on a helmet, you want it to look the part.
If so why? Or why not? I don't think the brand really has much of an identity beyond 'we make helmets' when you look at Rapha, Giro, or Assos, even if they are over-priced they still have a certain prestige from wearing them, even if that's just an "I'm so into riding I'm willing to pay silly money for kit" prestige.
What makes you choose one helmet over another? Traditionally - aesthetics, weight, ventilation. But recently if I am given the choice between a MIPS vs non-MIPS helmet I will choose MIPS every time.
Which is your favourite helmet brand if you have one? And why? Lazer or Giro - both make good looking helmets that offer all of the above - I don't need to buy helmets often for a couple of reasons, so when I do I'm happy to spend bigger on something that's safe, light, good-looking, and well ventilated. I am aware that not everybody can do the same and I'm very lucky to be able to. -
Had a larger gentleman cut me up twice on the Surrey Canal Road on Monday evening, once when he decided it was a good idea to overtake me and aggressively cut in when he realised I wasn't overtaking the guy in front because of the mum and buggy coming the other way. Then when we passed the buggy and I went to overtake he just pulls out as I'm right next to him forcing me into a wall, I told him that he needs to do a shoulder check and got a torrent of abuse in return. He is an absolute weapon's grade bellend.

Probably not drunk (or could be drunk, who knows), likely to be kids on a nicked scooter - it's something that's become really common around East London recently, the side streets between Liverpool Street and Dalston are especially bad with all the little pr*cks who drive on pavements and grab people's phones.

Bump and price reductions - not a huge amount of interest, so if nobody is interested today I will have to move to evilbay.
