No racing for me tonight. Sliced a bit of knuckle off (skin only luckily) and every time I bend finger to try and grip anything the plasters come off and it makes a mess. Away for 2 weeks on holiday so see you in September.
Life lesson, don't try and wash up sharp knives after an 8 shots of coffee work day...

Sorry to hear about the crash. Everything was going so smoothly when I skipped before the last race due to cr*p legs.
On my omniums, based on advice from someone else I use DA nuts at the back (with a bit of superglue to help the knurling stop them from falling off) and then I bought some stainless steel double bolts and use the male part to screw into the DA backs. Works well, loads of threads to engage. Bought some TA double bolts first, wasn't impressed at the quality and used ID bolts instead.

Massive fail for me. Hadn't been able to make it for the last 4 weeks, made it tonight but couldn't find any keys off anyone to get into the container. After half an hour of trying and races starting I decided I couldn't waste any more of a rare free evening and rode home and did some hill repeats.
Hopefully I can get out next week. -

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has a hook currently unused that I could use for a while? Maybe you've moved away, or just not racing at the moment.
In return I'll give you some beer money, and confirmation of a donation to Friends of Herne Hill.
I'm on the waiting list for a space which hopefully won't take too long, but in the meantime I'm going to struggle to make it to Track League with a bike after work.

Based on this I'm going to use normal Mastik for my tyres. Also happy to be a luddite. With all my teeth.
