Bought this from Apex Cycles in May 2018 and only did a few trips into Kent and some laps of Richmond Park before I moved to Portugal. Now sitting in my parents garage and needs to go, coming here first before it goes on eBay.
Very decent road bike with the full factory kit on it which is all high spec. Full Shimano 105 groupset, composite carbon fork, Tektro brakes and Giant's own wheels. The only thing they penny-pinched on was the saddle.
It's an XL, so would suit anyone over 6' but full measurements here: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/gb/contend-sl-1
Not a scratch on it so I'd call it mint condition but I did have one puncture, so not quite. Selling as no longer in the country and have my eyes on a carbon upgrade.
Specs - as link above
Frame - Giant ALUXX SL-Grade Aluminum
Groupset - Shimano 105 11 speed, 11x32, 34/50 cranks
Brakes - Tektro TK-R540 Giant Specific
Wheels - Giant factory PR 2 on sealed Giant Performance hubs
Tyres - this is the only thing that differs from the factory spec - It's got a set of Conti GPs with about 5ookm on them.
Pedals - SPDs in the pics not part of the sale. I've probably got a set of plastic ones I'll stick on if you want to ride away.Price - £700 ono.

at peak school rush hour times i tend to go Bellenden rd (gets me every time) to avoid the prams & sheep brains. Would recommend although only problem is getting onto the canal path becomes a bit of a faff
The junction leading onto that cycle path on rye lane also has the worst phasing i have experienced in London

Strava segment hunter on Waterloo bridge ramp from the imax. Heads sharply up my inside before weaving right to take some poor hybrid rider who spooks and nearly forgets to overtake the bus thats just pulled in.
2 mins later verbals with a taxi coming in hot to turn left off Aldwych
CS7 relatively pleasant. 6/10
