I think it's a reaction to the marked improvement in the Chinese budget groupsets. Shimano probably rightly realise that they cannot compete so have simplified but also raised the cost of entry to position themselves as a more premium provider.

There definitely is a spacer on the nds arm. Then again it could be because I have the AXS dub chainset

Also depends on the bike box. I used to keep the stem attached to my bars simply because it's was a pain in the butt to get the set up exactly dialled. I always used an alan which is quite generous

I was encouraged to buy that adapter set too. While a treaded axle end part is ok the central axle end caps can’t be screwed on as they are the wrong thread

So the fun continues with garmin. I gave them my serial number and they advise that it’s definitely a neo 2 and I need this. But obviously it doesn’t actually fit. Another call to support reveals I have the neo 2 ‘special edition’ which has the 12m axle but not the other updates on the 2T. Confusingly the special edition is ‘QR only’ so you can’t buy the S.2875.01 adapters….. f@@@ing garmin 😡

Cameron made a good point that crashes were inevitable on a muddy rutted pump track on 17psi on skinny tyres. I know there needs to be a show for tv, but several riders crash on it every year

Steady on… puck is by far the best female rider, but MVDP is really just a meat head. He makes way more mistakes than WVA or even Tom, but just has ludicrous power. That’s why he always wins on fast courses, but as soon as it gets really technical or hilly less powerful riders keep up.

It’s designed to make shouldering more comfortable when you are off the bike In a cx race. I’ll be honest I was a sceptical, but it’s way nicer than my CAADX. This is me shouldering while practicing my ‘brick lane this ain’t stolen mate’ look

Has anyone got any tips for setting up 12mm thru axles on the tacx neo 2? I’ve just fitted an xdr cassette body without too much difficulty, but I can’t get the frame to sit correctly. The frame either rattles left to right or I can tighten up the qr adapter that frighteningly makes the stays flex outwards a warranty ending amount. Some people have suggested that I need the neo 2T assembly kit (S2875.01), after moving a few times, I’ve definitely lost it, and it’s not for sale anywhere! And suggestions welcome

So after giving up cycling to have children, I’ve finally admitted my man crush on MVDP and bought an inflite so that I can pretend to be 1% as good in a boggy field. It look like a potato on top a canary but it’s hilarious so who cares!
