What's the consensus on using a soft drill brush attachment on alcantara?
It's actually for an alcantara sofa but asking here as someone may have experience doing alcantara car seats?
FWIW would be using with this stuff:

Posting on behalf of a friend who was burgled on Monday just gone (22nd) in E5.
Red Condor with Yellow decals, rear rack, porteur style bars.Frustratingly I spotted a guy on the bike today on Stoke Newington High St (near Iceland).
Took chase on foot (some coppers I ran past joined in) and subsequently lost the fucker in the Smalley Road Estate. Please chuck a lock on it and PM me if you see it locked up!
I suspect however that now he's been chased on it he may try and get rid...
Told my mate to go to Brick Lane this Sunday. Is that still a thing? Is there anywhere else that moody bikes are offered for sale in North/East? -
Need one of those hanging cargo nets for mine...
Did you get to the bottom of the starter motor issue?
Mine has a parasitic drain that the local R53 specialist thinks is due to damp. There's memory foam under the carpet and once it gets damp/wet you're f***ed. Seems like it will need the whole carpet pulling out to dry out then a trip to the auto electrician to find the short 😑.
Anyone here have any experience with that sort of thing? -
Having spent plenty of time browsing classified ads for all kinds of Clio Sport I think £2.5k for a 172 cup on 117k is not a bad price, even taking into account the potential need for a gearbox rebuild.
As mentioned above there would most likely be stuff to address on the lower mileage one.
There's definitely an argument for buying a cheaper one and having all the maintenance done in your ownership where you know it will be to your standard. -

I've just put a deposit down on one, so I'll be able to update you on reliability in a few months (to some degree). Funny actually as my first choice was a Clio 182 but couldn't find any unmodified ones for sale.
Rather stupidly this will be the first car I've ever owned, but as a life long petrolhead that only got their driving license earlier this year I thought fuck it, may as well start as I mean to go on. Insurance quotes for 1.0 Yaris and the like were coming out at £1250, and an R53 S was only a few hundred more annually. The research I've done has told me that if you have some experience of working on your own cars you could in theory do the big supercharger service (at 100k mi) yourself, and save the £700 approx it will cost at a garage.

Four Seasons is great for roast/bbq meat on rice if that's your thing.
TPT is one of my faves and is a solid choice for Hawker style food. My go to is the Malaysian Fried Ho Fun.
