Fancy looking like an extremely well turned out Norfolk field-hand? Course you do.
This here is a startlingly high-quality waxed cotton / wool-lined jerkin made by Carrier Company (basically the pre-eminent makers of this kind of archaic fashion/workwear stuff). Perfect if you're into Old Town, Labour & Wait, Nigel Cabourn, Breton smocks and all that jazz.
The quality is amazing but it's simply a bit too big for me. It's a medium, but these things are quite boxy as you're meant to be able to layer jumpers/jackets underneath.
The colour is olive green (very similar to your standard 'Barbour green') and the pure new wool lining is a natty brown/green mix.
New, it cost £178. I've worn it maybe twice since buying a couple of years ago (and it's been hung up in a wardrobe the whole time), so i'm after £130 (plus postage, or collection from southeast London. I'm happy to deliver in the area when the weather's not shite).
This is it new: https://www.carriercompany.co.uk/collections/mens/products/norfolk-jerkin

Got gifted a 100ml bottle of Tom Ford 'Fucking Fabulous' eau de parfum after a shoot at the magazine I work at.
Alas, i'm an Aesop guy, so any takers? The wrapping's been taken off (as it was for a product shoot) but it's otherwise completely new and unused.
100ml retails at £315 (!) on Selfridges. So £200 for this one?

I'm thinking about cycling the entire TransAmerica Cycle trail from Oregon to Virginia in the Spring. This one: https://www.adventurecycling.org/routes-and-maps/adventure-cycling-route-network/transamerica-trail/
Anyone on here done it? It's around 4500 miles, which i'd be looking to do in around 2.5 months (given tourist visa restrictions – though i believe it's pretty easy to get an extension?).
Any advice/tips/anecdotes welcome.

Morning comrades
My girlfriend had a head-on with the back of a car and managed to bend the Swinnerton's downtube (and thus, i suspect, the top tube to a lesser extent) to the point where the wheel now presses against the downtube and wont spin.does anyone know if a) the frame is likely to be a write-off? and b) any recommended london shops of framebuilders who'd be a good go-to for a quote on a fix? frame has sentimental value etc.
weirdly enough, the wheel itself is still true and spins fine. Pics below.
