@Double_J where are you based, possibly interested in the Miche rear wheel?

As it was me that bought the saddle, I like to add that it was a pleasure doing business with @Shroom and I wouldn't hesitate trading with him again, should the occasion arise :)

Although they can take a fortnight or so to turn round, I can recommend snapsphotoservices for developing, it's where I send my 120 and any 35mm film that my local Boots won't touch! Snaps also sell film (as do Boots), and I've also bought from Lomography in the past (don't forget the carriage charge on small orders), it's also worth looking in Poundland for cheap film such as Agfa Vista 200 -

Go with what @well_is_it says, the std zoom is fabulous, and definitely a cut above the usual kit zooms. Since buying my X-E1 + 18-55, I've added the 35mm purely for its reputation but, tbh, if I was going somewhere and had only one lens to take, I would chose the versatility of the zoom everytime.

First post in this thread (be nice, please) - I rediscovered analogue photography about 18 months ago, and now have a few 35mm and 120 cameras in the cupboard, mostly of the 'lomo' variety. This, though, was taken with a Rollieflex SL35 E (35mm) camera + Rollei 50mm 1.8 lens, using Lomo Lady Grey 400 film

Hope you don't mind input from a X-E1 (and X10) owner, but for a general walk around/travelling lens, I don't think you'll go far wrong with the standard 18-55 f/2.8-4 zoom. I own both it and the 35mm 1.4, the 35 is undoubtedly a stunning lens, but can be a little tight (imho) for general use, whilst the zoom still produces fabulous images, and just gives you that extra bit of versatility.

Yep, all appears OK, the battery check needle sits between the 1/125 and 1/500 markers (1/125 and beyond is good according to the manual).
As for the type of battery, I'm using one of these
