I don't want to get in the habit of posting every PR but this was a big one. 3 plate bench
This is absolutely one to shout about, as will that squat coming up. Assuming you won't be in Loakes :)
On that topic, I've made some significant changes to my back squat (footwear, wider stance, increased ankle mobility) to account for my unnecessarily long femurs, for the first time hitting depth felt comfortable today. Excited to start throwing more on the bar... slowly....

Nice! How are you feeling today?
I pulled some deadlifts today for the first time in years. Went sumo in an attempt to 1) help with hip strength/flexibility and 2) avoid comparisons with prior numbers. Took it easy and stopped at 95kgx8 but they felt great and got a bit of that CNS buzz that I've been missing.
Like you, will be interested to see how I feel tomorrow, a few sensible sets of Bulgarian split squats on Saturday morning gave me fatigue/brain fog for the rest of the weekend.

This whole remap impact on longevity question feels like something that should have been answered before but I suspect strong biases at play.
Can clearly see at open throttle the stresses will be greater, but when cruising at a given speed the power output would be the same, the only difference in my mind would be air, fuel and timing. Do the combustion forces differ enough to have a longevity impact?

Have any Gaggia Classic owners replaced/upgraded their steam valve to the new Shades of Coffee one?
Drips don't really bother and (in theory) the Gaggiuino will compensate for any water/pressure losses, but I dislike the steam constantly leaking
EDIT : Just realised, loosing pressure via the steam valve will be affecting the brew, most notably the pre-infusion duration because the profile I typically use is free falling pressure driven

I’ve the mhw3 bomber force tamper, love it. As said, a couple variables I no longer have to consider. Minimal branding helps
