I managed to snap the end off the strap of a Giro Privateer, they're the early version with the N-1 version of the strap. Wondering if anyone had a spare strap as they don't seem to be available for sale anywhere?

Just checked mine and the bolt sticks out from the burr. Having dialled it in with 1 spacer, it's currently sitting slightly coarser than 5E using 18g and aiming for 36g in 30s with a Gaggia Classic.

I'm using YB espresso, on the finest setting with 18g I was getting 48g out in 20 seconds. Have put a shim in and will see what happens.

Ordered it from Coffee Hit on 07 September and was supposed to receive it within a couple of days. When I went back onto the product page to check something it had been updated to preorder only and they confirmed that they were expecting delivery by the end of October at the latest. I chased up again on 02 November and was told that their forwarder had just advised them of severe delays at the port and they hoped to have the stock by the 11th.

My Sette finally turned up yesterday. Grind on the finest setting is too course out the box so will fit one of the shims and see how it goes.

Good to know. Now just have to wait until the end of Oct for delivery...

Thanks that's helpful. Do you switch the burrs for filter grind or just use the original ones?

That's good to hear. Do just use your's for espresso?
Wondering whether it's a pain to switch between espresso and press grind on it, in which case I'll just keep the Krups GVX I've been using.

After posting yeasterday I received an email saying that they were expecting delivery by the end of October despite the order confirmtion saying 1-2 days. Bit frustrating as had been looking at the Niche Zero as well but hadn't gone with that as it was delivery in November. Wondering whether to cancel the order now.

I went with the Sette 270 which is hopefully turning up tomorrow. Currently using a Gaggia Gran Prestige and debating whether to go with an older Classic in good nick or a new Classic Pro or something else. The MaraX looks great but a bit more than I'm looking to spend.

I’m looking at this as well, from James Hoffman’s latest video it looks like he will be comparing a few machines around this price soon.

Hi, I have a 57 that I am looking to move on. It’s a bit scruffy as was commuted on daily and there is a small ding in the top tube. Been sitting as a frameset for the last 3 years, couple of pictures below. Looking for £30 for it.

They are pretty long and baggy as it's oversized. I can post but as I'm sure @anidel would agree it's worth trying on first.
