Started in on the Lidl mince pies last night, almond and amaretto mince pie was very good, but their basic almond mince pie is slightly better. Wish I'd bought some brandy butter though.

Can anyone recommend a good source for good quality "one-off" multi-colour vinyl stickers. Somewhere between A4 and A5 sized. I've been offered sponsorship for a project at work, but we have to badge up the equipment to acknowledge their funding.

No experience, but almost all of these RTR models seem to have a rate adjustment on the throttle to allow you to set it to a slower setting until people get used to the speed.

A few more shots of the Bowler on the CC02 chassis. Because it's a 4 link suspension system, the wheelbase extends when the suspension compresses, so the wheel arches don't quite line up when the suspension is extended.

I'd love to know why there are now 7 different versions of the Ministock?!
As far as I can see there are race versions with a pan chassis, rear suspension and with a tough front bumper for stock car racing, but there's no explanation anywhere on the website what all the different versions are!

There's a guy called Bren who races minis and I'm really enjoying his very simple channel on Youtube.

I put together a quick and dirty Kamtec Bowler Landover body for the CC02 chassis this weekend. I'm quite pleased with how it's come out.
My nephew will be visiting for a few days, so I wanted a bodyshell that could be knocked about a bit with no real consequences.

What is this then? One of the Saloon classes?
I used to race Mardave Mini Stocks when I was a teenager, but the current ones look unrecognisable compared to the ones we raced. Suspension and seemingly several different variants from Mardave. I still have a massive soft spot for that bodyshell though.

What are you using to tidy up the top of the body posts?

I lost most of the hearing in my left ear as a result of a viral infection about 5-6 years ago.
This left me partially deaf and with tinnitus.

I have a hearing aid and one of the benefits is that it really damps down the tinnitus. I don't know if it replays some anti-noise or something, but if does really help.

My tinnitus is high pitched, but I can tune it out easily enough, although loud noises make it come back at higher volume, sometimes accompanied by a rushing sound.

In case anyone is curious, the hearing loss started as a really bad bout of labyrinthitis, with symptoms of vomiting and disorientation for about 3 days. After that, I can only describe it as having one ear that felt as if it was full of water (as if I'd been for a swim and one ear hadn't cleared). This muffled sound and made it hard to follow conversations.

I had an MRI to rule out a brain tumour and then extensive hearing tests which revealed a loss of hearing on one side, with very good hearing on the other. In quiet environments, I don't need the hearing aid (for example, at home) but I wear it at work. It definitely does help with tinnitus though.

Decathlon Quecha MH100 are soft, stretchy, zipped pocket on the thig and bum, regular pockets on the hips. They stay put and are incredibly fast drying. I wear them over old threadbare bibs and they're great. About £15-20 (price goes down a but at the end of the year).

If you want a side entrance tent for the same price and weight as the Soloist, buy the Vango Nevis 100.
I have one. I'm over 6'2" and it's long enough for me (and then some). Quite a comfy tent and packs down into a 13litre Alpkit tapered drybag.
Currently about £90.
