Well first test build and ride has been done. All good points on the masking off of canti bosses and threads. Sounds like it would make sense to use a metal brush and remove it off those bits.
Things to do. Rewrap bar tape as my idea of removing the old brake levers and put the black levers on hasn’t worked well. Mount the dynamo lights. Cut down the steerer tube.
Positives to take Away from it are the comfort of tyres even across the poor roads of south Oxfordshire

With a pending milestone, it was time to give the pompino some TLC after being roughed up over the last year. First thing first was to strip it down, so off came all the parts which highlighted the TLC it needed. It turns out that caustic soda ruins paint work as well gets stuck seat posts out of steel frames. Next thing was off to friendly neighbourhood paint sprayer. The frame and forks are a nice candy blue with a bit of sparkle.

Parts to go on are the Shimano deore xt v brakes, some black tektro v brake levers, pista vera chainset and jack brown folding tyres. The steerer tube needs cutting down also.

I have a Bianchi Via Nirone 7 for sale. I bought this in 2008 but haven't used this over the last few years so would make sense to free up some space from my shed. It is a 57 cm sized frame equipped with Campagnolo xenon groups, FSA chainset (50/34 chainrings) and ambrosio w23 wheelset. I put a 'new' chain and cassette on it 4 years ago so probably have approx. 500 miles or so on them. I might have some 52/39 chainrings hidden away that I used on it that I'd throw in with it.
I was looking at £125 for it due to the age etc. I've included some photos to show it. It has the general wear and tear of something it's age. I don't have the bike with me currently but could get it down to me. I'm based in Reading but regularly visiting London at the weekends.

looks like filmdev do Europe and worldwide. €5 for dev and small scan

Previously they'd (filmdev) just send 2 half frames together like they were scanning normal 35mm so I'd end up having to edit them to get single images. Though the images I got through yesterday from them, they had done that all for me so ended up with 48 half frame images not the usual 24 I'd then edit

I process Fuji eterna 250d as black and white though it's a motion picture colour negative film. I remove the remjet with some soda crystals dissolved in water after loading my film onto reels in my Paterson tank. You give it a shake for 30 secs then it should have come off. It's worth it if you want to use something different. I bought 1000 feet for £45 which load 130 36 exp rolls so I think it works out like 50p a roll to shoot and develop as b and w

I believe it is microfilm for making copies. It's a black and white film that comes out as slides when developed as normal. My canon eos 50 doesn't need sprocket holes to transport film though I'll probably put it through my lubitel too with some 35mm adapters.
Ventured down to the shed this morning to find the shed door open my Planet X pro carbon stolen. Brooks b17 saddle, spds, carradice saddle bag and Planet X carbon cages
If anyone sees this bike in the Reading area please give me a message
