Hi,
For sale to fund the new bike:
On One 456 18" Metallic Brown - Rock Shox 318 Tora U-turn forks (adjustable 85mm - 130mm), SLX/Deore gears, Avid brakes. Well used so a few scuffs and scrapes but a solid and fun bike - now £300 ##please note the cranks are being swapped to a brand new Deore x3 octalink as I need these for my other bike!

Epiphone Les Paul (made in Korea / Samick factory 1993) - with upgraded Gibson Les Paul Pickups - Sunburst top. Good used condition and sounds fantastic - £150
18" Specialized Hardrock frame (Blue, alu, 2007/8 ) - £30 - Will chuck in some 100mm RST forks if you want.
Open Face motorbike helmet - Large - Black with a Silver stripe down the middle - Good condition - £25

@hypercolour I went for Nuovo Record in the end, but I had a 130mm 10 speed wheel in there briefly and it fitted fine. A couple of down tube guides on the shifter bosses and you'd be able to run a modern group no problem.

Lovely bike. I like the story behind it. And I live in Sanderstead too!
I've heard a few of the older guys in my club (Addiscome) talking about their old Cliff Shrubb bikes. If I recall correctly I think he may have had a workshop at the back of the Geoffrey Butler shop in Croydon?
Don't suppose you know what club the old boy was in do you?

The bits are the small metal washer that goes between the chromed 'Campagolo' cover and the shifter - 2nd washer down in this link (the photo showing the parts, hopefully it'll work!).
The other bit it the 'd-ring' tension adjuster nut that holds it all toghether - the to bit in the link.

Cheers Tom, nice bike you've got there! The parts are a bit too nice for me though, looking to go a bit cheaper I'm afraid.
