Ah yes, just like it's easy to dismiss homelessness when it doesn't affect you. There is no reason they can't already spend that £200K on more important things than painting over graffiti.

So glad to hear the council sorted it instead of spending that money on housing the homeless, or refuges for domestic violence victims, or upping benefits for the disabled, or feeding the hungry, or funding rape crisis centres, or education, or childcare services, or keeping hospitals and surgeries open. Fuck those wanker taggers and fuck everyone who needs those services, keeping London pretty is top priority.

"Broken windows" policies are just another way to criminalize poor people. I'd be keen to see studies of corruption in urban-beautifying and who gets those tax-funded contracts.

That's the fault of the council, not the artist. I'm constantly irked (or else enraged) by how much is spent on beautifying London while services and benefits and housing are cut.

Bars have fairly new bar tape on them, and were scrubbed squeaky clean before this bar tape was applied. Fair warning: separating the bars from the stem is an absolute nightmare, possible only with liberal lubrication and even then it takes ages [dirty joke here]. Currently fitted with cheap plastic plugs [har har].

Thanks everyone. Amazon seems to be the path of least resistance, despite its dodgy ethics; definitely beats the Stokey whole foods. I'm a Budget Vegan or I'd consider ordering all my food from ocado for the convenience but it's usually morrisons for me.
