I don't if I'm breaking rules talking about a paid for ride, which is 25 squid but, but Ace Hotel provide coffee and light lunch, you get to use Fuji Instax camera with film, so you can take kind of Polaroids along the way. We make 4 stops along the way where do my usual thing and go on about trees, these will be proper old trees you may not have ever noticed, even you Tag of Tag fiends will even find difficult. Guarantee it will be more interesting than Steve Davis....

I am getting into greenwood carving and have been mistaken for Barn the Spoon 3 times now so it seems ineviatable. The hardest thing is finding fresh green wood which is dried out and still easily carvable now. I've carved a few spoons and potentially have an in with a pole lathe. So very keen but need to find a friendly tree surgeon preferably south london who I might ply with beer if they can but the odd log my way, upto 12inch long, ideally 6-8 inch diameter knot and shake free. It softwoods ash/birch/willow/chestnut (fruit tree wood at a push) nothing hard/coniferous/tropical. Any ideas/suggestions welcome

Not that crazy, when you consider you could wait at least 5 years to grow something to that sort of size. And if it is from Tendercare they do good stock. Coblands cash and carry down and Sevenoaks can work out well if you can wangle a trade card. Why not try growing yerself a nice Cornus kousa, it'll grow a site quicker has some flowers and a very interesting fruit you can eat to boot

I'm in, always eschew LMNH for the Terroni's stop and the Dog and Bell stop (the ultimate is to also have ice cream stop at Hackney City farm) name suggestion, #TheLondonPunk #ClassicumLondinium

Can anyone recommend a cheap frameset to build up as winter spinny fitness/town pootling fixie. Ideally will clear 28mm tyres and mudguards.
Fed up being tubby and want to get my mojo back. My commute is stupidly short, so need to get the most out of the mileage I do.
Not fussed old or new, but needs to be strong, I'm 17 stone and like to ride a variety of terrain.
