Few things from the continued clear out

1: PDW full metal fenders in black. Had them fitted to the Isen and just prefer not having them on so they're taking up space. Had an extra hole drilled (??) by the LBS to fit the Isen. Some tiny marks but hardly used. £40 Provisionally sold

2: Ortlieb Handelbar bag. Had this a few years and done a lot of trips. Previous owner had it longer and more trips. So it's well travelled. Still works perfectly well! Waterproof, secure with a lock. Etc £10 Provisionally sold

3: Gore windstopper gloves. 'Tis the season. Always felt a bit tight for me. Size Medium. £5

4: ITM quill stem. 130mm. Used but decent. All bolts etc £4

5: Campagnolo 1" threaded Mirage headset. Got from Isambards for a build I never did. English Thread. Not sure it's ever been fitted?? £20

6: TA Specialities Cranks. Tried to restore a bike but it was BER. These are all that survived. Just come get them. Shame to see these go to waste. £Beer?

A few more items from the house clear out.

The mavic cosmic elite wheelset I got on here ages ago. Haven't got round to using them though.
There were £Free and as such will be offered for £Free to whoever can come and collect.
Theres some dings to the rims and i can't promise they're true.
But they spin well. And they're Free.. so...

The Tacx Trainer... i've had this a few years. It's not the Smart version.
It works well. Comes with the matt, the front wheel stand, the turbo trainer itself and a wheel - the wheel has the skewer and a turbo tyre for. The wheel itself feel free to do what you want to with - it's a Campy 9 speed.

Clearing out some bits after house sale.

I have a Dave Quinn frame - steel (unknown tubing sorry), metallic blue with chrome forks. Previous owner applied LeMond stickers and stars to it. Would come off with a little heat.
It's 56cm square, tt cable routing. 130mm spacing at rear.
Has some scratches commensurate to age and use. One drop out screw is bent. BB is knackered as is headset. See photos for general condition.

I also have a De Rosa frame - aluminium, nice cream colour paint job. I've had this about 10 years? Has been ridden pretty much every day so a fair amount of scratches and wear but still looks great as per photos.
Comes with Veloce headset and Centaur BB both of which are serviced and good as new.
56cm square. 130mm spacing. ITA bb.
The downside - the rear mech hanger is slightly bent, and it's an alu frame.
I ran it 9-speed and needed to adjust the gears every few hundred miles. There's some paint bubbling by the BB. Would make a nice bike again nevertheless i'm sure.

Yeah i was hoping id be able to recycle a lot of the parts onto a similar frame for her.
She just likes this and isn't keen on buying a newer bike... This cost £25 originally, and i just cleaned it up for her

Long time absent on here but hopefully the forum can come to the rescue.
My friend was involved in a hit and run on Mitcham Road today, she was taken out by a lorry on the roundabout by the Ravensbury. Driver did one, thankfully the van behind stopped to assist and police/ ambulance weren't far behind. The truck tyre marks on the side of her leg suggests lucky escape.

Long and short is that the bike now looks like this...
Totally beyond repair. And she is devastated. She's currently furloughed and lives alone so i've promised to try and help her get back on the road.

Requirements are:

• New frame! She likes her little Peugeot mixte so something similar. She's 5' 3" but will send me measurements of the frame when she can.
  
• New rear wheel... its the original 700c, screw block, front is a newer raleigh one from CycleKing (£30ish and seems fine despite crash)
  
• New crankset. This melted like cheese. Double, Square taper. I think the existing was whatever came with it originally. No idea on chainring size at this point.
  
• New pedals. Flat and metal. That's the two key features it seems.
  
  

I'm hoping that's all that needs replacing.
If anyone has anything, let me know please.
Monies are tight, i won't lie, this is more me just trying to help someone out.

I suggested consumer rights and basically got laughed at. I’ve never had anything like this from Rapha. It was really quite... pathetic?

Spoke on the phone with someone and they said it's not possible to change it, even if it hasn't been shipped... will have to try and work it out with hermes... it's my own fault but id have thought it possible to change/cancel prior to shipping
