That is the same colour. Again, nice find. :) Thanks.
I actually live in Rotterdam (& am from Melbourne, where I'll be returning in a few months, with bikes). Love Belgium (we have explored much of the country) and we try to make it down whenever we can. I'd live in Antwerpen, if I had my time again. It is amusing what a lot of Dutch have to say about Belgium. I'm sure you've heard it all.
I'd love to do a riding tour of Be., someday.
Where are you? -

Hi all. Recently got hold of a Corsa Extra (in Max - shown in Motorola colours below) - and a MX-Leader (in a unique color combo I've never seen before, except for LWZ's TT above - Pink on bottom, Midnight Blue up top. Almost looks like Weinemann, but without the green and darker blue, or Telekom, but with Blue instead of black.
The MXL came with Headset (Campag Mirage), BB (Chorus) and an aero seat post (which I think is Chorus but not that familiar with Campy stuff).
The MXL also has a strange 'F' decal on down tube, facing the back (last photo below). It is under clear coat. Does anyone know what this is? A Belgian team, perhaps?
Serial number is F3120. I think that indicates '97/97..?
Both were bought within 50 k's of eachother, close(ish) to Brussels.
Would love some suggestions as to what to build up the MXL with...have an old DA 7400 crank, DA 7400 calipers (single pivot), SKF BB (should I use this instead of Chorus BB?) and a set of Exage brakes. I think it would be better to use existing Campy parts on the bike and source some Chorus bits and bobs. I have a Chorus front derrailleur on its way, which is good.
Don't have a lot of money after these two, but I would really appreciate suggestions.

Did you get this from Martktplaats recently? If so, I may have seen this frame in person and know a bit about its history.
Does it have some very mild damage to the top of the top tube, near the head tube, which looks like it has been touched-up slightly with silver paint? Very minor & I was told it was from the rider's sweat.
Let me know.. If it is the same one I have a pic of the bike when it was built-up and may know the year... I was told by the guy who was selling it.
Nice frame, BTW. :)

No probs. I'm waiting to find a courier who will accept parcels bigger than gls for the same cost , that way I don't have to take off crank and rear wheel, but I might be fighting a losing battle. I will let you know Monday as couriers probably closed on weekend. I can also catch train to edge of Netherlands (we don't have a car) with the bike and meet you half way... Might be easier? Anyway, let me know.

Very little interest here, and I need to sell asap, so have listed on Marktplaats. When I do the conversion, including what ABN charge me for incoming international fees, it is approximately 30 Euro cheaper on Marktplaats. After everything I paid, including service, train tickets to collect and conversion of AUD into Euros (I get paid by my Australian employer), insurance, I am losing money, but I expected this . Already out of pocket after buying boxes, tape, lagging and bubble wrap. Happy to sell at the Marktplaats price, if pick up is OK.
I must admit, selling internationally is more difficult than I anticipated! Didn't think PostNL wouldn't ship to another EU country...
Thanks everyone for all of the bumps and positive comments. -
How much would shipping to Germany, 23795, be?
Thanks, beautiful bike!It is, thanks :-) I am trying to find a courier who'll ship from NL, it isn't easy, unfortunately! Cheapest I've found is GLS (18.25 Euro x 2 - 1 for frame and other for wheels, some components).
I'll cover cost of another bike box (was 5 Euro from LBS) and bubble wrap/spacers and insurance.

Try parcel2go.com. They sub contract a lot of work using TNT, its probably possible to pay for international courier pick up this end (UK) for a pick up in Rotterdam but I doubt it works vice versa, could try the website though. Either way you'd have to wait in for a courier pick up in Holland. They're very cheap. I sent 30kg to Berlin for £29 and it arrived flawlessly 4 days later.
Thnks ciocc. Unfortunately, they won't do it. :(

Having trouble finding a good/cheap courier company that'll do it. So far, quote to London is 54.61 pounds (+22 surcharge), ex VAT. I'll cover VAT. That is to NW1...
Anyone have any other suggestions, I'd appreciate it. TNT are cheaper but will only send to/from businesses.
EDIT: Supposedly can send using TNT, which makes it 45 UKP (+ oversize surcharge of 22).

Batavus Team Professional
KNWU Livery.
Handmade in '92 or ’93.
Serial Number: 12833
Size: 57 C-T
Pantographing/engraving all over the place.
Photos here: http://postimg.org/gallery/1viywhgs/751edf39/Columbus SLX. Supposeldy, the SLX in these is quite rare. They were hand built in a separate part of the factory by a small team. Most often in Columbus SL; this is the first I’ve seen in SLX. Someone told me that for every 10 Gazelle Champion Mondials there was one Batavus Pro made. Probably far less for Team bike/SLX combo.
Frame is very responsive, very quick. I love it, but I have to sell my 2 to buy my Dream bike. Have only ridden once since buying it and was going to give it a clean/oil (was in shed & covered in dust) but ran out of time.
Came with full Dura Ace (7402) and includes all of the original components. The previous owner, who was given the bike by a family member (I presume the rider whose name is on the wheels) and it has been sitting in shed for past 20 years or so. I imagine the brakes would have been DA but somewhere they were changed for Exage. And the front derailleur is Campag (I think Record, maybe someone who knows can tell from the photo). Saddle is a Rolls, seat post is 600.
BB shell is supposedly a custom made Cinelli aero (what the owner told me) and the BB is SKF.
Wheels are the rider’s Aero FiR Apollo’s (made in Italy and bear the name of the rider, see photos). Tyres Vredestien Fortezza Tri Comps. Cinelli Stem & Criterium bars.Absolutely no dents in the frame and no rust. I took out the seat post to raise it and looked in side.. clean as a whistle. Can post photos if wanted. A few scuff marks which have been covered by touch up paint and not that delicately, but it was obviously just for a few scratches. Still, can easily be fixed. When I bought it I was worried that there would be dents (bought sight unseen) but there were none at all. I was planning on fixing the paint areas but need to sell this asap, before wife KILLS me for buying another bike. I’ve tried to photograph them and they aren’t bad. Chrome is perfect, no signs of any rust.
Will pack in box and post (at cost, TBC once location worked out).
375 (+ post & box, from Rotterdam). This is far less than I spent (and far less than worth, IMO) but I need to move it fast.
Thanks all. Let me know and I can provide more photos/info/etc.
A
96/97 but like EdwardZ said, photos would help alot.
Cadre.org is a good resource.
