Hello,

Can anyone recommend me what is the best spray paint and enamel to use to respray Matt and gloss frames. I was looking at Armourtex Ltd to see if they sell paint which I will call in the morning, any experiences or recommendations.

Are you looking mostly at single speed/ fixed or road? for a road bike I recommend the viking series, it is a budget/starter road bike but it gets the job done. I used the viking peloton for 1 year doing 20+ each day, 4 times a week and only had to replace a puncture once. I was completely reckless with it by skidding, shallow pothole run overs and very high curb jumps.

the dolan pre cursa is a good starter frame to build or you could also try to source a few other frames for example a Matt black unbranded frame or a leader frame from BLB. With wheels you could replace the spokes, on our next build were are using a snowflake pattern on the front wheel but we main like to use deep v rims ranging from 40 to 50mm

I am just wacky experimenting but is it possible in the whole wide world to have a geared cassette (14 speed or 7/8 speed) but make it fixed. So for example being able to change gears on the bike but having the use of a fixed gear, so when you stop pedalling the rear wheel locks up
