Thanks for your feedback. This summer my Stavanger went over the Alps with a lighter 11-36 casette. I think it's 34/48 in the front. Triple would have been awesome.

Brick Lane Bikes is coming out with a reasonably priced loop bars. I had a chat with their representative at Eurobike and he said the price would be more 50 than 100.

Once again my Surly Krampus worked perfectly packed with one week's gear. Newest addition is the bottle cage in the fork.

I built myself a second Pelago Stavanger last week. But now an older lugged version in size 62cm and with custom prototype color. I built this to serve me in my gravel grinding needs and unpaved light touring in good weather. I'll keep this with flat pedals normally to be able to ride for beers without SPD shoes.

@spotter yeah the label on the frame bags is KRNKY and it was my girlfriend's company and I helped with the online stuff and with product development too. We had to leave it because the lack of time but have been stitching the labels to all the custom bags we've done to ourselves and friends.

We rode our Krampus and Karate Monkey through Estonia a couple of weeks ago.

They both made good job on different terrains of the Swamp Thing Trail

I went for 650B wheels with my Pelago Stavanger and the extra 12mm width + air space turned to be useful on the gravel roads of the Russian border lands in Finland.

We have flights booked to Dublin in July and are planning to go biketouring on the Wild Atlantic Way. Now we're trying to decide whether to go by train to Cork or Galway to start riding. Any recommendations? Now I have tho routes planned the North
and the South
but we'd adjust those to follow the WAW.

And another thing is the camping. We'd like to bring the tent but are the lands totally privately owned and we should always ask the land owner's permission for a sleep over? Or should we just rely on the B&B's?

Any good wild tips and links are more than welcome!

Yeah and there was a highway for even faster transportation. We lost the race...

There were lots of roots and rocks on the trails and the footage from the actioncam came out quite shaky. Anyway I would recommend at least mtb-sized tires if you gonna carry the camping gear, water and food on your bike there. And it's good to prepare for the worst parts with your bike of choice than only think the average speeds advantages on smoother sections.

yeah he haven't had any problems. yet. I mentioned him the recall a while ago though.

there has to be something... I went from 66cm to 80cm latety...

It really gives leverage for climbing. like one tooth more in the rear.

I just went from L sized Karate Monkey to Krampus in XL and I love it. It was super smooth on trails even when loaded with camping gear.

only from Tromsø to Å i Lofoten in Norwegian Lapland on the Arctic Ocean coast. It was about 550 km of riding in total. Nice place and good roads. Definitely recommendable!
