Good evening lovely people,
It is with a heavy heart that I am selling my bike. Im just not riding it enough.
It's a Mielec frame, I'm sure you're all familiar with them but they build good quality customs in Poland.
It's a 56, cinelli stem, deda bars, deda forks, sram s100 cranks, shitty pedals, beaten up cinelli straps, selle Italia saddle, cinelli seat post, navigator pista wheelset (only the front is on in the photos but I have the rear)
Open to sensible offers and can send more photos/videos if needed.
(Please don't bully my seat angle: I had some cool mtb bars and had seat low cos I find the frame a bit small)
I also have said cool mtb bars (can't remember the name but it's one of those stem/bars in one with the little triangular shape that people spam on Instagram holding coffee cups lol) and an even cooler basket for sale. Not got photos of those to hand but will dig them out for photos if anybody interested.
(Keychain on saddle not included 🤘)

From reading all your posts in this thread, you want to live in Chorlton. Potentially a bit expensive but im sure if you dig you will find something in your price range. I grew up in Urmston which has cafes/bars (although nothing that cool really) and good transport right into the city centre. (10 min train, 20 min bike ride) Its a nice area.

I've bought these bars today (online so wont be delivered for a while) but a mate mentioned he wouldnt get them because they've only got the one bolt. Is that really anything to worry about or is everything gucci? I suppose if they snapped on me it would be a bit shit!

Seen a few people talking about their own personal projects/websites so thought I'd mention something I want to start. Basically I noticed that if you scroll through news websites, other media, political party social medias etc etc any form of information re: politics anyone with half a whit will notice that while labour do often talk about specific party policies and actions they would take, the tories literally do not lay out what they will do if reelected. Even on their website they don't have anything clear, only a really vague long term plan that doesn't give any figures or facts to support anything they say and you can tell half of its bullshit anyway. Basically literally 95% of news/media relating to the conservatives is just them name calling and finger pointing with the other 5% being the robotic repetition of "strong and stable". So I thought well if you got rid of all that almost reality tv bullshit of just slagging each other off and just clearly laid out what the effects and results of each party would be then people would surely be able to decide who they want to vote for much easier.
tl;dr - decided to start a fb page (so far unpublished) that will only share fact checked, unbiased and true articles about genuine policies and actions parties will take. So basically give a platform where there is none of the almost reality tv bullshit of politics involved.
Would like to eventually set up a website with regular articles written by me and others but I don't have the funds/knowdledge of how without funds to set up a decent looking site where I can write articles.Thought may be of interest to you and if anyone wants in or can somehow help me out with any ideas let me knowwww!

A friend and I are travelling Europe in April.
Hamburg>Berlin>Budapest>Bratislava>Vienna>Prague>Amsterdam
We're both into track bikes so any bike shop suggestions welcome (wont have bikes with us but looking to potentially rent some in dam) other than that i'd appreciate any must see sites etc etc things you did there, that as a regular tourist probably wouldnt seem obvious to do, but can create good memories!

So i'm building a new bike and the frame should be here by Friday but i'm pretty sure i have the wrong headset. The frame is a custom Mielec ( http://www.bikemielec.com/en/img_oth/ostre_kolo_2_.jpg ) and i have some Dolan Alpina forks. Now I was under the impression that when looking for a headset i just needed to make sure it was 1 1/8 and now that i have bought the cheap and cheerful FSA Orbit X im kind of thinking i need an integrated headset and not an external one. Also can someone explain the bearing contact angle situation for me, what am i looking for there? so really any help is welcome

Track and to be honest i'm not 100% as its a new build and frame hasn't arrived yet and cant find details so i'm kind of risking it and aiming for the more the merrier approach (not to much of course aha). If you can point me in the right direction to figure this out or give advice would be appreciated. First track bike ive built in 3 years and slowly realising all knowledge has leaked from somewhere
