Hello I've been doing DIYs for a few years. You can use the same route as many times as you like. It has a bevet number once registered and I think you can just keep using that number. As for submitting I do this the night before, audax UK send an auto email that you are entered. Then a few days later the validator emails listed the entry and number of cards I have left. You can enter up to midnight I think the day before.
My gpx routes go all over the place. I have off-road, walking bits and fast roads. Don't have to worry about the shape of the route if it's gpx submit. Also if you are doing squares from veloview that also make the route planning more interesting. Good look with planning.

I've puts some VO just fit my fork. Also 23mm tyre on 19mm rim give a 25mm width tyre. So 25mm seem to come up at 28mm and the max width on them is 30mm. Make sure you measure everything in advance.

Looks nice I've done the same on my PDW. What mudguard are you using? It's the size of mudguard which has limited me to 23mm on PDW. Did have 25mm but they rub a little when grinding up the hill. Would like to go back to 25mm or 28mm as 23mm seems to make the bike vibrant more.

If it's not down as a perm then don't see an issue. Just submit the gpx as a DIY and that's it. I've done this for some events I've missed.

Thanks, I did a bit more digging and found that the B +M is for ebike. So it's expected DC volt and won't work on the Dyno. I still have the B+M secular plus attached to my PDW. But the issue is the z bracket keeps breaking and just had enough of that, and 23mm. So the plan is to switch to velo orange black smooth guard and mount a new light to that. But still working out what light and guard combo will work.

I would like to sell them both. If someone wants the front then I can split?

Does anyone know how this light should look on a Velo Orange Mudguard? Can't find a manual or how it would fit on.

Yep that was the bit. Nearly got run over at the road as it's a blind bend. The other side of the road went down the hill and in to some odd buildings. Lots of trespassing signs up. Had to walk the hill as 23mm tyers didn't feel good on the loss tar.

You can shrink wrap tube, it to the cable. I run mine along side the front gear cable and under the frame. If you also use black gear cable it not noticeable. Just use clear tape to hide the cable. You then just replace this every so often along with annual service.

Just put the year 3 claim in lol completely forgot to do that.

Did a 200Km at the weekend still on year 4 of the RRTY. Also offroad on the Chiltern Way which was unexpected. lucky for me it was dry weather and the walking was not to hard to do. Found a new cafe too on route which was great for a coffee!

nded up doing a tweaked version of the TNRC ride above - on the whole it was really good. A few busy A roads up to km 80 or so, but after that it was especially nice..just quiet country lanes. Rolling into Bath via canal at sunset was awesome.

virtual brevet purchase + validation after sending gpx route via email was super quick and easy - yep I ended up just doing the ride without reply from organizer in the end and it all worked well. Definitely planning to do more DIYs this

Yep once you get the hang of it you can just drop in a DIY last min. I can suggest this ride which i've done for the past 4 years. Good for winter too.

For the DIY get some Virtual Bevets from here https://audax.uk/choose-a-ride/do-it-yourself-diy-events/ You can get 1 or 3 at a time and pay with paypal.

Then sign up for a "Mandatory route" under the local organizer which would be south east.

Then ride the event and submit the GPX at the end. Don't worry if the organizer does not reply before the event you have the automatic AUK email then you are good.

Looking around for a bike. 48-49cm still which could take a rack. 2nd hand 8speed Dawes or such like is fine.

Do hojo fix into a van nic Yukon with caliper breaks. Have pwd, but they are too narrow for 25mm. Plus the rear bridge just keeps slipping and rubbing on the wheel.

Muffin was great! Pot of tea and sank the muffin in one go.

fixed my light. Manage to take it apart and clean it. Bit of GT85 did the job :)

My busch & müller cyo t senso plus works ok just the standby light not working. Its more the switch is not right which i need to have a look at. I have a few lights from them and they all work fine just this one is playing up. I'm wondering if the break cables have pressed on the back switch and done something to it. Will figure out how to pull it apart and try to clean the contacts.
