Might be but it rides well and didn't break the bank to build no 4 in my stable of fixed/ss

Here's mine and I know some will hate but all I can say is she rides as sweet as and I love it - set up for commuting, audax and some light touring a real joy to build, own and ride :)

Check out your local clubs and do some club tt's to begin with. Most clubs allow come and try riders then if you like it/them join the club and go from there.

Five years ago I decided to give a tt a go so I rocked up to a local club tt paid the vast sum of £2.50 and rode 10 miles as hard as I thought I could on a road bike. I have since discovered that I can try harder and I like bikes with fixed gears to race on - I joined the club straight after my first tt

Awaiting new rear wheel from v sprint to post my pc set up for tt'ing - knocked 1 minute 4 seconds of a season best on Tuesday :)

That was a lovely ride to work, driving rain, head wind and fairly cold. Delayed by loons in their tin boxes so I could sit in the rain for longer getting colder because I was unable to move. First ride for a week - loved every second of it :))

8th march on p601 out of vernham dean up conholt nice blast down before grinding back up through upton, down the hill and hang on to the finish.

Never ridden it but what's not to like ;)

This mornings commute was a joy and a little bit of heaven - only touched my brakes once because I was being a girl and he rest was just a lovely spin :))

Ride home wasn't bad either ;)

I like it because I get to talk to motorists that stop too

Flashing rear (usually 2)

Front light flashing in the morning when it's murky to be seen. Constant in the dark to light my way and be seen - I use a second flashing light as well as I ride on unlit country roads.
