i have the retro alpes flite-for mtb if i remember correctly

my first foray into cars will be a strange one, never really liked cars except american ones. everybody wants to put me off them, too big, annoying if you need parts, insurance, but i really don't want to get a car if I'm not gonna enjoy it.

quite a few old chevy blazers come up on eBay for cheepz.

i want something that can carry quite a few people, and that we can throw all the bikes in, but with a touch of redneck.

its at the cop shop, you are the legal owner.

they WILL give it back to you, and it may even be a process but i would go there most days and inquire personally as chances are at least one person there will forcefully hurry up the process and see the ridiculousness

source: had a single speed nicked in '08 and it was kept at a police location, took 2 weeks of communication to get back and would have been even harder as i didn't have frame number and it was bought second hand.

I'm replacing my surly steamroller fork which has 38mm rake, so something near to that as i don't want to increase the wheelbase too much.

scored a new headset on eBay for a great price.

now looking to upgrade this steamroller fork to a carbon one with similar rake, tyre clearance and drilled at the top (i.e. no disc brake mounts etc) and it has to obviously be 1/1'8th. (suggestions very welcome)

want to build a fancy set of wheels for the spicer and want phil woods track hubs. can be 28 to 32, and preferably blue or red...will go with black or silver if i have to :(

could also be down for some paul hubs/wheels, but mainly after the hubs

Really enjoying these new 35c gumwalls, grips finally gave up so im on the hunt for nice locking ones, maybe coloured as opposed to black, a nicer seatpost and maybe a volta saddle
