I have about 7000 Km's with Pasela PT 23C and while they can be rough and air resistant, I haven't had a single puncture with them! Ever!
The threads are impecable for the age, with almost any small cut at all, which is extremely impressive given the amount of Km's I've done with them.
If you want a tire that lasts and has extreme puncture protection, go with them. Just make sure you use the proper air pressure with them. ;) 7.5-8 bars, all the time, before leaving.
