Jewsky on this forum was kind enough to sell me this frame. It took me a couple of months to successfully build it up (my first) and I learned a lot.
Here are the specs:
Venom Kinetic - Columbus Steel Frame and Fork
Shimano 105 Crankset
Shimano 105 Index Shifters
Shimano 105 Brakes
Shimano 105 Front and Rear Mechs
Shimano 7-speed cassette, 23-13Shimano Ultegra Hubs
Mavic Open Pro RimsVelo Orange Headset
Oury Grips
Cut riser bars
Avid (SRAM) brake levers
Selle Turbo saddle
Steve Hamilton Animal pedalsI started with the frame, fork, headset, stem and riser bars. The great mechanics at Bikeworks (Bethnal Green, special thanks to Thomas!) told me to start with the wheels. I trolled ebay for both fixed gear wheelsets as well as road bike wheelsets, torn as to which way to build the bike. When I saw a great deal on a set of Mavic Open Pros laced to Ultegra hubs (had a couple of broken spokes - easy fix), the decision was made for me.
Here she is, before autumn arrives and I add a rear rack and some lightweight mudguards:

Gios - thank you so much for helping a newcomer to London and cycling brother out! I owe you a pint or two if I ever get the chance to meet you and I hope I do! (BTW, the van man was shady; tried to extort another 20 quid out of me because he said "it was hard work getting it out of his flat and it wasn't on the ground floor". I hope we get a chance to meet, let's go for a ride when you are settled into your new place.
Punkture - I'm sorry there was a miscommunication between you and Gios. I'll buy you a pint too mate. :)
