Up for sale is my trusty Dawes Galaxy tourer. Its a beautiful vintage sky blue (reynolds 531!) steel frame.

David from DT Cycles kindly stripped the bike, replaced some bearings in the front wheel, replaced the cables and housing and gave the bike a great service. So she's ready to be cycled away!

I am only selling as I recently purchased another single speed, so this pretty thing has to go. She has been with me for 4 years and has been across the Europe! If you've never rode a steel frame, you're missing out. Smooooooth!

It's a large frame, and fits me comfortably (I'm 6'1), has all the original Suntour parts, upgraded tyres to gatorskins and a new Dawes saddle.

I upgraded my phone, so selling my Huawei Nexus 6P for £250. it has a slight curve because thin phones and bums are a bad idea, but it works great. The photos it takes are next level. I'll add photos of the slight curve to the album below when i get home tonight

Hi @kotsm, The corner of the touch screen seems to have come away slightly from the right hand corner. It is not a battery issue. The battery was only recently replaced. It just needs to be glued back down. Its a very minor/cosmetic thing. I would glue it back, but I have 34902304208473087 projects I need to do first. This is also why I am not putting my Dawes bike back together and just listed it here as is.

You are welcome to come and have a look, or I dont mind making a quick video of the screen issue if that would help? But it has no effect on how the phone works.

This is technically a complete bike... but let me know if it needs to be moved. This is from my Gumtree ad;

I stripped the bike to give it a clean and convert it to a single speed bike, but I recently purchased another single speed, so this pretty thing has to go. She has been with me for 4 years and has been across the Europe!

Im happy to put everything back together, but I dont have the tools/parts/time to do the gears/brakes, but its nearly ready to go as a single/fixed, or as a the classic tourer. I will throw in both sets of wheels so you can choose yourself. You can even have the pricey Gatorskin tyres. They have served me well and have loads of milage on them left.

You can see the bike in its former glory in one of the photos. But the main photo is how it currently is. I have all the spare parts cleaned and ready to put back on.

So just to reiterate, this is not rideable home yet, it does need new cabling, but thats easy and cheap to do.

£180 and its yours
