Yeah, called police, shared apple login so they could track directly but it went to near Leyton station and then got turned off. I suspect it's people robbing and handing off to gangs/ a more organised setup, not trying to flog it down the pub. I have too many banking apps and logins on there so decided to wipe it remotely, but it's pending as it's currently not connected to the internet.
Changed all my passwords, blocked banking apps etc. Total and utter ball ache.

If it was me, I would find a cheaper platform that has Vanguard funds, if they are the ones you hold, transfer in specie and there is no time out the market. If you hold a fund the new platform doesn't provide, switch on vanguard (for free I think) to a more common one they do provide (with a similar profile) and transfer in specie.

Reluctantly selling my Strael 2.0 if anyone is on the lookout.

As @SRAMbo said. Will take 40/35 but I ran 35/33 for off road adventure rides. It’s a very capable all road/fire road bike but not a full on gravel bike.

Reluctantly selling my Fairlight Strael as I'm just not using it since I got a gravel bike and became a dad. Bought around 4 years ago and loved it. But I bought a gravel frame and switched everything over to do Badlands.
Around 2022 I had it checked over by Fairlight as I thought the paint was bubbling in once spot, but rather embarrassingly they worked out that it was a solidified lump of Gel and the paint was fine. They gave the frame a rub down and also gave it an internal coat of rust protector Dynax S50 to prevent surface rust in the frame. This model didn't always have it done as standard and I think surface rust in the seat tube was occasionally an issue.
About a year ago I rebuilt it with a brand new 105 R7020 11s groupset. New stem, seatpost and the pdw mudgauards that I had on it before. Sadly I'm just not riding it enough to justify keeping it. I'll be keeping the saddle as it's my saddle of choice that isn't manufactured any more.
- Strael 2 - 54 R - Geo here
- 105 R7020 Hydro disk groupset. 170mm cranks, 50/34 chainset and 11-30 casette
- PDW black alloy mudguards
- Hope headset and Seat clamp - orange
- 3T stem - 120mm -17 - new at time of rebuild
- DT Swiss R23DB wheels - fine but not super new.
- Michelin Pro4 Endurance 28mm tyres
- Bontrager Elite Aero VR-CF handlebars
- Prime Kanza Gravel Seatpost Black 27.2mm x 350mm - new at time of rebuild
- No saddle (or I can find something, but not the one in the pics).
Condition of the frame is used but good, a few scuffs and dull areas from saddle bag etc, but generally in good condition. I would like the buyer to see it in person to make sure they are happy as condition is very subjective. There is some paint bubbling on the rear brake caliper and the chain has slight surface rust as I didn't let it dry before putting it away on my last ride.
Looking for £1650 but let me know (nicely) if I'm way off. Collection and viewings in person in E10, just off Lea Bridge Road.

I think @cmburns is talking about de-risking rather than rebalancing right?
Everyone has their own opinions, but the idea of de-risking or target date retirement funds is based on the time before the pension freedoms of 2015. You basically had to buy an annuity with your full savings pot so were protecting against a dip as you came up to retirement.
Now, you can drip feed an income out of your SIPP, most of your fund will remain invested for another 20+ years so you still want it working hard for you rather than 80% bonds.

I did, and it was surprisingly easy tbh, multiple work and personal accounts with different banks. Some were even able to block apple pay and any transactions made that specific phone/app.
