I should've quoted the guy above. He was saying his 2013 could take a 28 when it's all the way in, I was just saying the 2010 can't even take a 23 like that.
They must have improved it in recent years, my 2010 Classic can't even take 23mm if they're pushed all the way in. It's fine on the chain stays but rubs on the brake bridge.
It's o.k with the wheel about half way along, I reckon I could get 25 or 28mm with the wheel at the back.
