I'm less worried about deletion of things moderators don't like than falling foul of the OSA. I'm confident that common sense would prevail. Perhaps start with applications for moderator posts. Everyone's contribution to the forum over the years is their CV so you know who you are getting. I'm sure that @velocio has a few trusted friends on here they could ask to review applications.
Happy to put myself forward as a potential moderator and won't cry if I don't make the cut -

East Midlands for rail links and affordability but due to their advancing years you may want them closer
EDIT @hazzelfrazzel moved up here from London a few years back because of affordability

LFGSS and Microcosm shutting down 16th March 2025 (the day before the Online Safety Act is enforced)
Perhaps joint liability as a condition for all members of the forum is the solution. Signing a binding agreement on joining of the forum for amny incidence which would transgress the legislation. Not only does it mitigate Velocio of the risk but also keeps everyone on their toes knowing that they are responsible for everything that they post.
More thoughts- Contractual liability for all members (as above)
- crowd fund for a stautory compliance review (when we are ready)
- Management committee
- Contractual liability for all members (as above)

In that case pray to God he's incorporated and the company is still solvent. Getting my Mercian and Eddie Mcgrath back fromm the workshop ws stressful and they are only about 8 miles from where I live.
That aside if he did go to join the choir invisible his bikes may well jump in value as he is a bit of a lone wolf(?)
TBH I've been reading a bit too much about custom and self builds today. It just puts me in an annoyiing N+1 mood -

FWIW I havee a couple of sets of Vittoria Pistas and I think they are excellent. I've had experience of no brand clinchers on Bordeaux hire bikes which were sketchy and I've ridden with a couple people at Derby who've used various Vittoria corsas both tubular and clincher and ended up abandoning them and swapping out for Pistas.
One thing I have come to realise is the one area where you don't want to skimp is tyres. -

Thank you @velocio, like putting down an injured animal, it's the right thing to do

If your directors are happy to moderate then you have killed two birds with one stone because of the directors' liability. Seems only right that the directors are mods if they wish but others could be as well
