Fluffed the original post (iphone + thumbs). Want a single speed, 56-58cm. Most conditions entertained, just must be in ready-to-ride condition. If it’s a beater and it flies, DM me. Need a new commuter for the London leg of my journey that can take a beating. Preferable meet around Moorgate/St Paul’s and/or Paddington.

Haha yep I was there, I went from the inside to the outside and got through the cluster in the relatively empty right turn lane. The rest is a bit of a blur but was a good run up there this morning, top three in two of my segments on strava since recovering from an injury so the turkey last night was doing some good.
Dont remember seeing such a tasteful bike but will certainly look out for you on the next run. DAS me if you see my bearded face and wait for realisation to dawn.

Good for you @Dantheman, still waiting for the wound to heal properly before I'm allowed back on. 9 days and counting.

Bit late on this, but at 1:44 he brake tests and swerves sharply in front of the bmxer in an extremely dangerous position, followed by more braking and slowing down (see the guy in the suit in front, how he was previously catching up with, disappearing at a faster speed).

This guy knew what he was doing, they are both dangerous pricks.

The amount of times riders (read:squeaky-chained nodders) pull up in the tiny gap slightly behind and on my left, in the gutter, and I stare fixedly at them with my arm out indicating my future movement intention/reverse clothes line, and they pootle off straight over the junction on my wheel, is exactly mirrored by the amount of times I have cycled off from a junction after a left turn looking over my shoulder shouting something unintelligible abuse along the lines of "I knew it you were going to do that you [insert description of male or female genitalia]". - takes breath

@TaxiWarrior: While I do not condone leaving the scene, I did not see the alleged incident. However, what I do see evidence of here is a taxi driver intentionally blocking a broken white line, you are only, legally, allowed to do this if you cant avoid driving over it. You could have pulled ahead behind the vehicle in front and not blocked the bike line. You would have already known there was a cyclist approaching this segment, having passed him a few seconds ago. Why you would intentionally block this lane, given that there was enough space for you and the cyclist to move forward a considerable distance, I can only guess. Is there evidence of the "scratch" existing before the encounter? You mention similar situations with cyclists happening numerous times to you before, I urge you to drive with more care and attention.
Thanks, @Pagmee, this would be exactly what I'm looking for except it needs to be singlespeed (my knees ent what they used to be) and I'm 5'11 so may be a little small for my aching back. Other than that, you couldnt be more spot on with what I'm looking for!
