Used to ride a bike with these bars, and they were exceptionally comfy:

Hi there.
Looking for a commuter bike for my good friend who's just starting out riding to work.
Looking for a complete build, preferably with an attractive frame (vintage would be ideal, but open to anything at the mo) 52-54cm, with around 5 gears. Flat bars as opposed to drops would be preferred.
London based.
Thanks!

Hi @Kobe kobe, do you know what tubing it is?

Looking to replace my Bianchi Pista chrome which got stolen at the weekend. Loved the feel of the frame although wouldn’t mind shedding a few g off the weight.
I use it as a commuter bike covering at least 10 miles a day, but also for rides out of town so need something a little robust. Not looking for a beater though – looking for something pretty!
Budget is around £400 – could go a little higher for the right frame.
Anyone got anything going?
Thanks!

Both wheels just got stolen from my Bianchi Pista (chrome). My fault for not locking them up properly.
Looking to replace with something of equal quality and believe the stock wheels are Alex Solo. My budget is not huge - happy to spend around £120.00 max - I found some on Chain Reaction for £84 but wondered if anyone has some used ones they'd be willing to sell even cheaper?
I don't want to compromise on the chrome, so chrome hubs/rims are preferable.
Thanks!

I'm after a comfy but attractive saddle preferably in bianchi green to go with my grip tape. This would be ideal but it doesnt seem to be for sale:

***** HAVE NOW FOUND A LOVELY BIKE. THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR OFFERS & HELP ************
I cycle 60 miles a week and am currently using a single speed that I bodged together (cheap 80s frame, relatively cheap components.) It's not the smoothest ride but it is fairly light and the frame is gorgeous looking, despite it's quality.
The bottom bracket has just gone and the cost of repair will probably exceed the value of the bike, so I have regrettably decided to say goodbye to it and upgrade to something more efficient and reliable.
I'm looking to spend between £300 - £550 on a single speed/fixed gear (I don't come across any hills on my ride tow work), lightweight, 50-53 cm frame.
I strongly believe in function over form, however, as I was so fond of the aesthetics of my old frame I would find it hard to settle for something that was less easy on the eye. (Thin tubing and feminine colourways would be my preference.)
I've been looking at this bianchi pista but I think it's too expensive for what it is:
Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated and I look forward to hearing from anyone who has a bike that fulfils my requirements.
Thanks,
.
