and, as I mentioned, there are not pictures of the front hub flanges from above so no view of the deformation. I had an exam about 30 minutes after we met, so yes, I didn't check them as I should have and am now clearly going to live to regret it. if you checked them as thoroughly you say you would have noticed it so I have to assume you mislead me willingly. I'm not playing any games here, there is no special motive for me where I win and you lose, I just wanted my money (minus the postage which I offered to pay) and you would continue to own your hubs which you class as perfectly good... all that I get from this is slightly less money and wasted time even if you did refund, which for some reason you seem to think is outrageous.

hi guys, i'm sadly here for some advice.
I recently bought a set of hubs from kal_xyo, met him in person to collect, briefly checked the bearings etc and left happy. Since then they've sat wrapped in the same bag he gave them to me in and I literally haven't looked at them for around a week or so as im a student and had 3rd year exams. Today I sat down to see about building them up and upon closer inspections of the front hub there is deformation to the flange. it also seems to have light tool marks from pliers or something in an attempt to reshape the flange.. I have messaged him about it but he immediately told me that the problem is mine and that they were perfect when he gave them to me... i sent a further message asking for a refund saying i will pay the postage back to him...and received an aggressive response saying stating he doesn’t care and it is all my problem…has anyone else had trouble with him? and is there anything to be done if he is simply shirking any responsibility? -

well, you do have a reason. right here you stand to gain the money for a pair of hubs you may or may not have known had a damaged front... It is clear you aren't willing to resolve this at all and are happy with it as it stands so i will have to live with it and move on. Hopefully this kind of thing will lead to you being more wary of deceiving people in the future
