Thanks - they're FSA omega compact handlebars, I really really like the shape and I seem to have an easy time getting a nice feeling transition. 4deg flare so 360 at the hoods and 380 at the drops for these (marked at 380). Often available for <£35 too!

shit pic but 'done' for now - favourite bars on with spare tape badly wrapped. Really like it and am happily riding it daily - will have a look out for a frame to swap the parts to when it gets a bit warmer :)

My road bike came setup with 1x (46t front - 11-32 on the back), It seems to work fine for most of what I'm doing (kent, surrey etc but no speedyboi laps). You do sort of spin out on anything over 50kph but if I get overtaken going downhill I simply don't care. I get what you mean w/ the minimal build approach think it looks good too, the less pissing around with mechanical front deraileurs the better imo - I would go for it, you can always change it back.

Saying that - only having a few low low gears kinda sucks for anything long and steep and I will change it when I get around to it.
