I'd like to sell my Raleigh Royal 2015 touring bike which has not been any further than London. The frame is 56cm.
It doesn't have the saddle, chain guard, mudguards or luggage rack. There are a few little chips on the paint caused by the lock, but it's in good condition overall and has never had mechanical problems or been crashed. It comes with Time Atac MX2 pedals.
I bought it new for £500 from Rat Race Cycles in Nunhead. I will take £225 for it.
Specs here:
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/raleigh-royal-2015/
https://www.evanscycles.com/raleigh-royal-2015-touring-bike-EV237836I'm on Telegraph Hill, SE14.
I'm also selling bike helmet / SPD shoes / Kryptonite lock, etc, which I'll post about in the other sub-forum.
Thanks for reading.

I'm looking to sell my Raleigh Royal touring bike which I bought new for £500 from Rat Race Cycles in Nunhead a few years ago. The tour never happened and, sadly, the furthest I've been on it is Twickenham!
I took off and didn't keep the chain guard, mudguards and luggage rack. There are a few little chips on the paint (see photo for example) but it's in pretty decent condition and has never had mechanical problems. It comes with Time pedals.
Ideally I'd like to sell it this weekend for £200 o.no. I'm in New Cross Gate and will also be around the centre.

If this is the wrong place, I apologise, but to the folks who cycle old kent road - try using the CycleStreets app to find alternatives. I've been able to cut Old Kent out of my London commute entirely, except for crossing it at a junction.
To the cyclist, I hope and pray you're ok, whomever you may be.
From SE London (Bromley) look up Eddystone Road and go over footbridge and head towards Peckham Rye - through Rye Lane, Surrey Canal Walk. Cycle route (signed) leads across OKR and takes you to Tower Bridge Road. Pretty quiet and avoid OKR - I reckon its as quick if not quicker. Main roads = traffic signals and traffic, quieter roads = pretty consistent journey time.
Thanks - hate Old Kent Road, for the pollution + getting buzzed close by fast cars, so glad to hear of any alternatives.
Ilderton Road - Gallerywall Road - Southwark Park Road - Grange Road - Long Lane - Southwark Street - Stamford Street looks solid.

I'd like to sell my Amazon Kindle Fire HD. It's the one with 7" screen and 16 gb hard drive. I paid extra to get adverts turned off.
I'm including the powerfast charger which doubles as a USB lead to transfer files over to the computer.
I bought it in in December 2012. It's in good condition, though no packagaing.
The new price on the website would be £181. Do I hear £90 for it?
I can meet anywhere in central.

My thanks also to Alex and Dan for organizing the ride and preparing spoke cards and poetry booklet.
It was a perfect excursion for a late summer Sunday.*The Return
by Ezra Pound *See, they return; ah, see the tentative
Movements, and the slow feet,
The trouble in the pace and the uncertain
Wavering!See, they return, one, and by one,
With fear, as half-awakened;
As if the snow should hesitate
And murmur in the wind,and half turn back;
These were the "Wing'd-with-Awe,"
inviolable.
Gods of the wingèd shoe!
With them the silver hounds,sniffing the trace of air!
Haie! Haie!
These were the swift to harry;
These the keen-scented;
These were the souls of blood.Slow on the leash,
pallid the leash-men!

Lines On A Young Lady's Photograph Album
At last you yielded up the album, which
Once open, sent me distracted. All your ages
Matt and glossy on the thick black pages!
Too much confectionery, too rich
I choke on such nutritious imagesMy swivel eye hungers from pose to pose
In pigtails, clutching a reluctant cat
Or furred yourself, a sweet girl-graduate
Or lifting a heavy-headed rose
Beneath a trellis, or in a trilby-hat(Faintly disturbing, that, in several ways)
From every side you strike at my control
Not least through those these disquieting chaps who loll
At ease about your earlier days
Not quite your class, I'd say, dear, on the wholeBut o, photography! as no art is
Faithful and disappointing! that records
Dull days as dull, and hold-it smiles as frauds
And will not censor blemishes
Like washing-lines, and Hall's-Distemper boardsBut shows a cat as disinclined, and shades
A chin as doubled when it is, what grace
Your candour thus confers upon her face!
How overwhelmingly persuades
That this is a real girl in a real placeIn every sense empirically true!
Or is it just the past? Those flowers, that gate
These misty parks and motors, lacerate
Simply by being you; you
Contract my heart by looking out of dateYes, true; but in the end, surely, we cry
Not only at exclusion, but because
It leaves us free to cry. We know what was
Won't call on us to justify
Our grief, however hard we yowl acrossThe gap from eye to page. So I am left
To mourn (without a chance of consequence)
You, balanced on a bike against a fence
To wonder if you'd spot the theft
Of this one of you bathing; to condenseIn short, a past that no one now can share
No matter whose your future; calm and dry
It holds you like a heaven, and you lie
Unvariably lovely there
Smaller and clearer as the years go by.
Anybody?
