Thanks for the feedback, glad you guys like it.
The frame will take mudguards but not racks. I haven't weighed the bike but I'd take a guess at around 10kg (which probably means its a little more)
I bought a 42t chaining but they do tons of different sizes.
Pretty happy with the build overall, fits well and is very comfortable to ride.

Cheers- yea I think the frame looks pretty cool. Hoping to have it all finished for the 28th Dec so I can enter the Macclesfield supacross.
Goodies!
Couldn't wait for the head set to arrive so I installed the BB and the force cx1 cranks that arrived this morning.
Tempted to just go to LBS and buy another CK headset than wait for this one.
Definitely the wrong choice saddle and bar tape but it's all I had in my parts bin.

At the weekend I pulled the trigger on an All City Macho Man frameset from Triton Cycles. It's due to be delivered today at about 15:30. I'm delirious with excitement.
It's my first build from scratch so I thought I'd document it here and ask for suggests and critique on component selections. The idea is to build it using as many parts from my parts bin and upgrade over time. With my parts bin being fairly thin on the ground at the minute, I'll end up buying a lot of the stuff upfront anyway.
So here's the plan:
All city macho man - 58cm
Chris King head set - black
SRAM Rival 22 groupset (I could potentially afford to go to force 22. Anyone think it's worth it or have other groupset suggestions?)
Planet X Strado Compact handlebar 44cm (parts bin)
Cannondale C2 stem 110m (parts bin)
Cannondale C2 seat post (parts bin)
Brooks B17 saddle dark brown (parts bin)
Brooks dark brown leather bar tape (parts bin)
Avid juicy ultimate cantilever brakes (totally not sold on this so open to suggestions)
H Plus Son laced to Tune Mig/Mag hubs (parts bin, kind of)
Tyres - absolutely no idea but looking for 32 or 35's I think
Jagwire cabling (parts bin)
Shimano XT trail pedals (parts bin)I think that covers anything. I'll post some pictures tomorrow once the frame arrives.
Anyone have any comments or suggestions for the build so far?
Ta
Chris
Yea not sure about the CX1 actually. It was a real pain to get working nicely and th very solid gear changes I like with my Red group set just feel annoying when riding cross.
On the flip side it's pretty bling and light which the macho man definitely needs.
