Evening chaps, I'm doing up a 1988 Raleigh (thread to come once the nursery malarky's over) which I've sprayed red - hoping the link works - and so my predicament is what colour deep dish rims to go for, either white or black. It has black parts with a chrome seat post and bars (but they're taped over). I'd really appreciate people's opinions!!

Selling my polo bike, one I built during Covid to get back into it but since building it, I've only played with it a handful of times. It was a brand new frame, with mostly new bits but using the old wheels from my prior bike. I've got it set up for Polo but if you swapped out the crankset for a bigger gearing, it could be a good single speed instead.
Dolan Pre Cursa 56cm in Gun Metal Grey
Unknown disc forks
Avid BB7 Mechanical Disc Brake with internally routed cables on a Clarks Rotor
Thomson Elite Stem, Funn Full-On Bar and Clarks ergo grips
Create Flip Flop deep dish wheelset on Schwalabe Tryes with a new front shimano disc hub
Shimano square taper crankset with (I think) a 28T sprocket and room for a bash guard
It's in good nick, a couple of chips on the top tube, there's a bit of a clicking noise on pedalling, the wheels have plenty of dings and marks from balls being hit at them but overall it's a good bike, good for a starter perhaps.
Looking for £385
thanks!
